Hello folks! My name is Christian, and I am 49 years old. I was born in Zell an der Mosel, Germany. At 9 years old, my family and I moved to California, U.S.A., where I lived for 37 years in the San Francisco Bay Area. At 18, I joined the U.S. Army and returned to California in 2004. About a year and a half later, my best friend introduced me to World of Warcraft. I absolutely fell in love with the game! The Burning Crusade was my favorite expansion. My main was a Warlock, and my friend and I both played one. We used to PvP as Affliction Warlocks and would stack stamina gems and enchants. My other friend played Mage mainly. We spent all day in battlegrounds and arenas. Those were some of my favorite World of Warcraft experiences. I began losing interest in WoW more and more after the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. I raid healed most of the raids in WotLK with a Holy Priest. My second favorite set of WoW memories to date. This is around the time my two high school friends quit playing. I kept playing on and off up until 2026. I have had many accounts, mostly on US realms. I currently have several characters level 60+ on The Burning Crusade Anniversary Edition on an EU realm. I also have a level 90 Void Elf Priest and several level 85+ characters on my main EU realm account. My highest achievement on that account is 77 exalted reputations. My only other notable video game achievement was sending a secret I found in the old Double Dragon Super Nintendo edition game to the old Nintendo magazine Nintendo Power, and the tip appeared in the next month’s edition. I like to believe I am the only person who sent that tip in that month. I also enjoy Creative Assembly’s Total War franchise. I am looking forward to TotalWar: Warhammer 40K as well. How many Warcraft players know that it was initially meant to be part of the Warhammer universe? Ideally, World of Warcraft: Forever will be my last MMORPG. From my perspective, I've played WoW off and on for the last 21 years; if I play another 21 years, I will be 70 times around the sun by the end. I don't see myself starting a new MMORPG at 70. After around 2014, I made the mistake of listening to news and documentaries while playing WoW, as I am naturally a super introverted solo player who loves information. This habit slowly eroded my immersion in Azeroth. I plan to remedy this mistake in Forever. For the first time, I am excited to read all of the quests and become a full-blown WoW lore nerd. I want to break out of my introverted comfort zone and actually make friends in-game this time around, and I want to be one of the best guild masters the game has ever known. I welcome well-reasoned, fair critique from any guildmate in that regard. See you all in game! Be blessed, be safe, folks!
